How to fixing your category Error at Wordpress 2.6
Since I want to be hiatus for a week since tomorrow, I start creating schedule post. I’m still using WP 2.5.1 that time and try to upgrade at Wordpress 2.6.
My cosplay blog still not creating schedule post yet, so the simplest way to fixing category missing from Wordpress 2,6 only with RESTORE the back up database and every thing goes fine. I cant imagine how if I fixing 70 category and 208 post. I’m gonna be dead.
But case happens happen to my Best Video Collection.
I created 10 scheduled posts for my Best Video Collection. Without realizing my category is gone since I create new category for all new video (my stupid fault). If I restore my database, I will lost all my 10 schedule post (that Already run for 4 days)
And I found Wordpress 26 upgrade fix missing categories (I like wordpress support since I found it there not from google)
But since I confused with the step (I’m not understand database), so I will make tutorial step by step for beginner to fix missing categories.

1. Login to you Cpanel and Find PHPmyAdmin. Click it.
2. If you have more than 1 database, choose the database first. If you dont know which one is your blog database, go to wp-config.php and read what is your database name.
