After writing 5 reason you should commenting others blog, now I will write about what you shouldn’t do when commenting at blog. Maybe I will post ‘what should you do’ after this post.

1. Put your website as Signatures when commenting – I read pool result of problogger web at 2005 that 56% readers agree to allow putting link website under comment. So I decide allow them posting like that in my blog. But personally, I dont like it. I mean, reader already have “URL form” to put their blog URL. So what is their purpose writing same URL address beyond their post? Double Backlick? No way… it set as no follow if it at comment box not at the url. If you put at the URL box, you will get do-follow and get back link. But if you write your link at comment box, you will not get backlink because it default set as no-follow. I checked it few weeks ago at my shireishou’s blogroll page (Most people leave url at their comment box). If only one link I still can accept it. But if 2-3 link, I will remove 2 of it (note, I’m not talking about relevant links inside your comment that add to the conversation).
2. Put irrelevant link at your comment – Maybe it similar like make link as your signature but it ‘on middle your comment form’. Can you imagine if you talk about SEO and you put Cosplay link on it? The author will be angry and feel you do not read what he/she write but commenting just for spamming. Keep links relevant and in moderation and you’ll find people respond to them well.
3. One or Two word Comments – Maybe some of you think if you put so many comment in various website, you will get visitor (whether for SEO or direct click visitors). But I was read it is not true. One insightful, intriguing and intelligent comment that is relevant and helpful to readers can achieve far more than many two word comments that ultimately mean nothing. All you’ll achieve by leaving loads of useless comments is to annoy bloggers, get yourself listed on comment spam blacklists and to potentially hurt your blog’s reputation as a spammer. I still do not understand why people put word “Pertamax” in comment. Is that any ‘proud feeling’ if able to become first commentator and only write “pertamax”? If yes, pls explain it to me. I still try to see from another point of view but still dont get it. I really want to become first commentator at Suzuki Hiroki blog. But I will not writing “????????!” (First Comment) just for that.
