Since so many people enter my blog using keyword adobe premiere, I think I will add more tutorial about it. After I made How to Add Text to Video With Adobe Premiere Pro 15 and Tutorial Photos Slide Show With Adobe Premiere Pro now I made explanation about text at Premiere Pro (pls read my Add Text to Video before read this one)

B. just type like you typing at microsoft word.

C. This is the tools box. I’ll try to explain one by one

EXPLANATION

1. Move Tools : Its for moving ANYTHING on the text
2. Rotation Tools : Its for rotating the object
3. Text : For typing text horizontal
4. Vertical text : For typing text vertical
5. Text placement Horizontal : for typing text horizontal
6. Text placement vertical : for typing text vertical
7&8. make text path longitudinal (almost similar but different direction)
9. Created text path : Similar with pen tool at photoshop. So U make line and the text will follow the line
10. Add node : Add path node (just click the place that U want to add node)
11. Remove node : Removing node (click node to remove it)
12. Move path : Moving path position
13. Shape : created current shape
14. Align : Positioning 2 or more object

After creating How to add text to video with adobe premiere pro 1.5 , I just started to created slide show photos with premiere. So I’ll give you basic Tutorial making photos slide show video with adobe premiere pro.

1. Collect the photos and pick your favorite song that you want to use as BG sound.
Tips : Choose song that suitable with emotion at the photos collection

2. Open Adobe Premiere Pro and choose NEW Project

3. Named the File and Pick up where you will put the file. So you will not confused where your pproject file placed ^^

4. Press ctrl + I to import song and Picture. I’ll pick one song and 4 picture

5. Since it only example, I will cut the mp3. This is how to cut mp3/music at Adobe Premiere Pro. Double click the file from Project pallet, and put the “blue triangle sign” to place that will you ended and press the button. After that, press insert button and you done. Its similar like what you will do to image

6. After it, I will explain 3 simple effect in Adobe Premiere Pro. For the first time I’ll try to explain SCALE

7. Open Effect Controls Tab, and click the layers that you want to give effect. Expand the SCALE option and click button that look like clock to make ‘key frame’ button (like diamond button). That is the KEY FRAME. Key frame means placed that become basic transition. Similar with flash, you only need to make FIRST IMAGE and LAST IMAGED, and premiere will handle the transition ^^

8. SCALE it (by putting percentage point in scale property and you done make the picture bigger).

9. Now I’ll put about POSITION EFFECT. Its similar with scale. The only different is, U DRAG the last keyframe into another position to MOVE the image. So… it will move from right to left ^^

10. lets talk about Opacity. Similar with others, you only need to put how low the transparency will be (in percent). Dont forget to make keyframe each time you want to change the opacity

11. Last tips for make picture bigger is with scratch it. Just click the image at Sequence box and just pull it out ^^ after that press enter and it will rendered.

12. If you want to add effect at the video, at Effect tab, pick you desired effect and drag and drop into the image at time line and to remove it or add some specific order just go to Effect control.

13. If You want to put Transition between image, put TRANSITION effect Between image

14. Last, Save movie and U done

I forgot who request me yesterday to make ‘how to add text to video with adobe premiere pro 1.5′

I only know how to put text on some video. I’m using Adobe Premiere pro 1.5 to do this. My suggestion, this is only for adding SORT TEXT not subtitle. This method not simple and hard to do for long text. i’m still learning how to make subtitle. But at least with this method, I can add some Lyrics or translation at my favorite video

First, before U read my adobe premiere tutorial, please read basic tutorial of adobe premiere from Heryzal . It is BEST ADOBE PREMIERE TUTORIAL in Indonesian language. you MUST read that tutorial first before read mine. I only put simple step how I make Lyrics song on some music clips

1. Choose the video that U want to put the lyrics. Convert it to WMV or Avi since Adobe Premiere only able to import this kind of file. U can use SUPER software. ^^ Its free ^^

2. Find the Lyrics. ^^

3. Open Adobe Premiere Pro, and U will asked to fill some information such us, name of file, also where the file will storage.

4. This is The Premiere work tools.

4. Press Ctrl + I to import Ur video clip

5. The video clip will appear on left side and double click the name of file. The image will be appear on the left box. And U can push ‘Insert’ button on Premiere tool to insert the clip into timeline like this

6. U can stretch the video if it too small. The preview will appear on right side

7. Press F9 to open TITLE/TEXT menu like this. Just type whatever U want to write. How it control similar with Microsoft word

8. if U using Adobe Premiere 2, U dont need to save it. The text ill save automatically. But if U using Premiere Pro 1,5, U must save it first

9. Put the text (drag and drop) in second layer of the video. Make it on the correct position so, people can read it easy ^^

10. File -> export -> Movie I usually only choose Avi. AND DONE. Simple right?

But how about making “Audio Music Video(AMV)” or with some people call as “Tribute”? I was post one of my AMV at http://www.uang.persusi.org/2007/05/12/video-audio-music-video-beautifful-mele-gekiranger/

I cant find exact definition of AMV at google nor wikipedia. So I’ll try to explain it with my knowledge.

AMV mean video which made by fan using cutting video or photos collection and it combine with another song (Related or not with the video/photo).

Still confused? Umh.. I try to give example.

Maybe you wondering why I write some kind like this. lol This is because I want to introduce how FUN making AUDIO MUSIC VIDEO

Its very rare Indonesian people want to make AMV. For example, I can find easily AMV at youtube. But at layartancap or indowebster, I almost cant find AMV.

Why we make AMV?

We can learn new design program such as Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effect (Any body can give me tutorial Adobe After Effect?)

For me myself I use Windows Movie Maker SP 2 for capturing part film from VCD and Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 Pro to mix with the song

What can I get from making AMV?

1. FUN. wahaha Maybe for some people I’m weird like to created AMV. But it really fun to make Ur own story.. make Ur desired atmosphere at some video esp if the caharcter is your idol. lol

2. Learn to make new program. For your Information my first AMV made at Sept 06. When I made that, I also open the premiere tutorial. Its funny when I remember that. I made it until 2 AM-Midnight. I use http://ikc.cbn.net.id/umum/heryzal-premiere.php for my tutorial. Trust me its best tutorial for adobe premiere and it on Indonesian language.

3. I can get message from my Idol and contact them. ^^ Can you imagine, I have some idol from many country. And when I made their tribute, They response it. My Vincent Tribute got 10 rating after the video appear at his blog. Adam Cheng Watch my Chu Liu Xiang tribute, Alv Band really appreciate my work. And thats like a honour for me. ^^

4. Find new friends who has similar hobbies. Its fun when some one commenting Ur hard work and accept critics to improve for next AMV.
