  • Five Sallary Negotiation Tips

This Monday, I’ll go to Gading. Some company was called me and said that I passed they second test. So they called me. When I ask “What kind of test that I will follow again?” she said “No.. it will only salary negotiation.” Oh wow… Hope I can pass it.

And because of that, my father give me some tips for Salary Negotiation at job interview. And hope it also help for U who want to do salary negotiation

    1. Take a survey to know the salary rate
At the first time, try to find out range salary at that company. Maybe from friends who also work there. If you dont have, look at your jobs responsibility, and find out the range salary from other company and keep that in your mind

    2. Never make a first move or salary request
My father said always try to delay salary question if you still in interview. If they still force you,
    give your preferred salary range.

    3. Make a salary range not the number
Never ask exact salary point. For example never said “I want 3.000.000 rupiah.” but if U want 3.000.000 rupiah, give a try “2.700.000 rupiah to 3.500.000 rupiah”. Make sure you already knew the salary range. So you can give the right salary range without get low range or make too high offer so the company will canceled recruiting you.

    4. Understand why they try to hire you

Make a effort to show them your skill. Most employers filling entry-level positions don’t pay nearly as much attention to an applicant’s skills as they do their qualities. So if you say that U have big enthusiastic, eager and positive to do your job. If a potential new boss makes an offer, that means he or she likes you and wants you. It also means the boss may like you enough to negotiate to get you.

  • 7 Marketing Mistakes to Avoid when Promoting your Business

Last 2 post, I promoting my friends business. But today, I accept this tips. And wow… I think its nice tips. Maybe if I have y own business I’ll use this technique ^^

    So enjoy the article

Many people rush into business thinking it will be easy to run, but very soon they realize that it is not as easy as it looks. A successful business is a finely tuned machine. In order to keep your business running smoothly it is important to avoid making mistakes.

Here are the 7 most common mistakes to avoid:

    1. Not having clear objectives:
Many business people start a business without clear objectives. They fail to set realistic goals for their marketing and consequently set themselves up for failure. It is important to make a list of goals and objectives based on a quarterly time line. If you do not have company goals and objectives you are like a car driving without a road map. Make sure all employees are briefed on company objectives. When your employees are not properly prepared you will not be able to achieve company objectives.

    2. Neglecting to analyze your potential customers
Neglecting to analyze your potential customers is a dangerous mistake. It can lead to many problems. When you do not analyze your customers wants and needs you do not know what products and services to develop for them. This will lead to targeting the wrong market and neglecting to understand your own niche market. It is important for any business to do their marketing analysis so that you can target your market and maximize your sales.

    3. Not testing:
By not testing your sales copy and places you advertise with split testing your advertising, you will be losing sales. Split testing is simple to do but many businesses fail to do this. This results in a lot of wasted time and effort. If you do not test your ad copy and marketing promotions you will not have a proper idea of the ads and promotions that are pulling and what is not working. It is simple to do by placing 2 ads for the same product in a publication or website etc. You can then see which one is performing the best.

    4. Not budgeting:
Budgeting is extremely important in business. Your business should never run out of money. This is especially true with your marketing and advertising ventures. It is important to have a monthly or quarterly budget for your marketing. Within that budget put aside money for each promotion you will be doing. Start small, test and then build on successes. This will allow you to always stay solvent and have enough for promotions.

  • Hard Drive Maintenance Tips

I’m searching trough google to find out how to maintenance Harddisk. Actually, I got some tips from my friends. So I’ll add that also at the article. ^^ Hope it able to help Ur PC from crash. With the amount of information available for download on the internet, it’s easy to quickly fill up your valuable hard drive space and turn your computer into a sluggish, unresponsive monster. Keeping your hard drive clean is essential to the high performance that the latest computers can achieve. Fortunately, it’s a simple process; one that can easily be performed on a regular basis and, with some organization, keep your computer running like a well-oiled machine.

You can discover how much hard drive space is available on your computer by accessing the DriveSpace program in your System Tools. A pie graph will show you the amount of used and unused space for each of your drives. Check this often to keep an idea of how much space you are using.

There are six simple steps to clearing up your hard drive:

    1. Uninstall unused programs.
Many times a new program will come along that looks fun to have or play with, but after a week or two you simply stop using it. These programs clutter up your drive and take up valuable space. You might be tempted to delete these programs from your drive, but doing so will cause problems. You must use the uninstall function of Windows for the program to be removed safely and completely.

    2. Clean out temporary files.
When your computer is not shut down properly, it will pass information from memory into fragmented files. Also, while you are running programs, your computer will write information that it does not immediately need into temporary files. Installation files will also expand themselves into the temporary folder and will not always clean up after themselves. You can delete these temporary files safely by using the Disk Cleanup option in your System Tools.

    3. Empty your internet cache.
As you surf the internet your computer stores web pages and images into a temporary internet cache so that it can quickly recall and access information when you move back and forth between pages. This backup information can quickly add up and eat hard drive space.

Whether you use Internet Explorer, Netscape, or one of the many other browsers available, emptying out your cache is quick and easy. Simply follow the instructions in the Help files located within those programs. You may also wish to set a specific maximum file size for your cache folder, so that it is not allowed to run rampant.

    4. Empty your mail programs of clutter.
It’s easy to browse through your email and leave old messages there, promising yourself you’ll sort them out later. One or two messages don’t take up much space, but hundreds certainly do. Take the time to sort through these old emails now and delete what is not important. Create folders and organize what is left. Make it a habit that when new emails come in, they are either filed immediately or thrown away. Set your email program to empty your deleted items folder each time you close your mail program.

    5. Empty your recycle bin.
Once you’ve emptied your drive of cluttering, unnecessary programs; empty your recycle bin to remove what has been placed there in the process.

    6. Scandisk and Defrag.
When Windows installs programs, it will put the files it needs anywhere that it finds free space, and not directly after the last program installed. As a result, your hard drive has patches of empty space on it that are not big enough to fit a full program, and will result in a drive space error if you attempt to install something new. Scandisk your drive to check for lost file fragments and to fix any errors it finds, then Defrag to pack all of the program files together at the beginning of your drive. This will clear out those empty patches and move all of the free space you’ve just created to the end of your drive.
