Tutorial How to Create Free Domain and Hosting

ARGHHH yesterday when I taught at BC Kedoya, there is an electricity power off when I want to taught about “How to create free domain and hosting.” Also “How to upload file to server using FTP”.

Since I’m afraid the electricity is still unstable, I will write it on this blog. So sorry if most of you already know about it. Today I will post about “How to create free domain and hosting.” The others tutorial will be post tomorrow if today I still can not teach them how to upload using Cpanel and FTP.

I want to explain what is the different between Hosting and Domain name
1. Hosting is like a warehouse. Some place which able to store your website file. Mostly, free hosting website also give you domain name but using their subdomain.
2. Domain name is ‘address’ that will be used to access your website.

After understanding that, we will start to create new hosting.

1. You can search at google to find out so many free webhosting. I will use 000webhost

Why? Because its No Ads or Banners, Huge bandwidth, fast access and has affiliate program (earn money from new user that sign up under your name). Ahahahaha Actually I never promote this before since I think many people already use it. But I think its ok now since my student ask for it.

2. Press SIGN UP button on right side. And fill all data. You will get new domain name. For example my domain is btx.890m.com and to access my main page is http://btx.890m.com/index.html

Now we created the domain name.

1. Actually 000webhost domain name already sort enough. But if you want to have more private domain name, I suggest using

Same reason like my hosting, its quite simple name and has affiliate also.

2. Goes to manage domain menu

3. Choose option redirect (Number 3). And put your domain name from 000webhost.

4. DONE

Now we created the File Storage for Download

I forget to put site which able to store your download file.You will not need to use your hosting bandwith to share something with your reader. Enjoy
