Few days ago, I found my new Japanese Idol web blog. His name is Suzuki Hiroki (Different person with Suzuki Hiroki from D-Boys). I love him since he acts at Fuuma no Kojiro live action as Reira. But off course, since he is Japanese, his blog also in Japanese language.

I can translate Japanese into English as long as I can read the Kanji word. The problem is how can I translating from English into Japanese for commenting his blog? I’m Japanese passive learner. Able to understand but can not write or speak. I can read hiragana and katakana and able to understand few kanji letter. But most of it I can not read. So I need free transtool.

There is some free transtool that I found when I’m searching it on net. But I only listed the best translation tool that I find. Not only from Japan-English or English-Japan, but also for another language such as Korean-English, Spain-English, French-English, even I can find Bahasa-English. Wow!

This is the most complete FREE translation Website

http://www.stars21.com/ you can find many language translation tool here. Let me know if you find another language transtool website.

I will give you link for Japanese-English and English-Japanese translation tool.

This is my review for each site base on my experiment in Japanese-English and English-Japanese translation.

1. Google translate
The fastest load among three listed site. The layout is quite simple. Just pick what language you want to translate and press “translate” button and you done.

Weakness : The grammar is miserable. I try to test it from English-Japanese. Only simple sentence able to be translated by this site correctly. If you want to make longer sentences I suggest separated it into 2 different sentences and combine it by yourself. The vocabulary is fine and the kanji dictionary is nice.

2. Excite transtool
The best grammar structure for translation result. I’m not said this is 100% correct. But mostly Excite translating the sentence better than others.

Weakness : Sometimes this site give wrong kanji. My suggestion, check the Kanji with another transtool to check it correct or not.

3.Yahoo Babelfish Altavista
My first transtool website. I like the website layout. The Kanji dictionary is good.

Weakness : The load time is slow and the grammar from Japanese-English is the worst among tree, but the English-Japanese is not bad.

Maybe tomorrow I will post tips and trick using transtool for creating new article. hmmm What do you think?
