i got up to part 3 of the second half….except for my video isnt even opening. it’s giving me an error saying ‘couldnt locate decompressor for format ‘h264′ unknown. requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codex to decompress video.’ basically saying i need a ‘direct stream copy’ for my .avi. any idea what that means? thanks

But why dont you try using SUPER software

to convert your video for a while. just for change the codec.

have you download all codec that necessary?

yeah i download all of the things from your list. it’s odd. some of my of my other video works and some don’t. apparently this one doesnt. crap. im trying to dl that a converter program that you’re recommending. hope this works!

I was read the same problems at forum and they said it because the codec video is different. Hope SUPER really able to handle your problems. Since I never have problem like you, I’m so sorry cant help much

@DnDin : first off all, thx for reading my tutorial. And about the export thing, I never lost my subs because do that. Its up to you U blame me because U wrong reading my tutorial or without backuping your ass file before export it. Next time, you should back up Ur file before do anything. Thx

i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong but whenever i combine the subtitles and the video the subtitle always stays in the same font even though i changed it in aegisub..
is this normal?

@OceanBlue : Actually if U merge it, the effect also come with it. What version of Aegis that U use?

hey there, i just want to ask.. i already did the hardsub, and the video came out real nice with the sub, thanks! ^^
but the thing is, the styles i gave on the subs are all gone..All my subs are default subs with white color and black outline…T__T
can you help me? thanks…

@OceanBlue and LIN : Umh.. I think the problems come from the old version of Aegisub. I did try to merge my Karaoke text with all color effect. And the effect still merged. U should use Aegisub version 2++

Btw SUPER not supported at windows 7. I change my converter into “Any converter” since I change my OS into Windows 7 T_T

@Yellow : The program name is “Any Video Converter” its compatible with windows 7. it works almost same like SUPER

but i still facing one problem..T__T
the problem is why i can’t installed VSFilters
when i trying to installed it..
there have some error
it said ” Error opening file for writing ”
