We have become aware of a tactic being used by members to attempt to cheat the Newb Bux system. In response to this behavior, management will be enforcing a rule for capping the maximum amount of Newb Bux members can earn per post. At this time, we have decided to set the cap of Newb Bux earned per post to 100. We will be manually adjusting Newb Bux for all members who have requested cashouts or who are above the capped limit. This is a temporary measure until the cap can be programmed into theforum script. The following is an example of how the adjustment will be calculated:

Member A has 20,000 Newb Bux,15 posts, and 0 active referrals. This member is eligible to have a max amount of (1,500) New Bux on hisaccount. Thus, 18,500 Newb Bux will be removed.

Member B has 10,000 Newb Bux, 50 posts, and 5 active referrals. This member is eligible to have a max amount of (6,250) New Bux on his account. Thus, 3,750 Newb Bux will be removed.

Member C has 30,000 Newb Bux, 350 posts, and 10 active referrals. This member is eligible to have a max amount of (37,500) New Bux on his account. No account adjustment will be made since this member is within cap.

Note: Newb bux earned from forum contests will not be removed as the member earned those Newb bux from winning.
